SECTORAL WATER DEMAND AND CONSUMPTION IN MAKURDI, BENUE STATE

This research is concerned with the determination of
sectoral patterns of water demand and consumption in Makurdi.
The sector with the highest water demand and consumption
is the residential sector. This is followed by commercial
and industrial sectors respectively.
The results of a multiple correlation analysis and
principal components analysis show that sectoral pattern of
water demand is a function of several respective factors.
