Synopsis

This study aimed at investigating the impact of changing basis for household economy from pastoralismta pure crop farming on family formations and fertility performance in the households. The study was conducted in the HADO Areas in Kondoa district.Seven villages were randomly sampled out and grouped into two clusters namely the "HADO Area" and the "Peripher-y HADO"x A total of 359 women aged 15 years and above were interviewed from the 240 sampled households.
